Këgê-vîke Dêtîkè (/ˈkëgɘ/ /ˈvɪke/ [axe] [empire]) is a subtropical Town located in the Lîsithapíe Zone of the Union of Engineers.

The name Këgê-vîke Dêtîkè is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Këgê-vîke Dêtîkè was founded by Brêl Shegêbèdo, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Këgê-vîke Dêtîkè has a yearly average temperature of 29°C (84°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 33°C (91°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 26°C (78°F). Overview

Këgê-vîke Dêtîkè was founded durring the early 11th century, by Brêl Shegêbèdo. The establishment of Këgê-vîke Dêtîkè suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.

Këgê-vîke Dêtîkè was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Këgê-vîke Dêtîkè is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Këgê-vîke Dêtîkè is is constructed arround a series of broad flagstone mainstreets which form concentric circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to each other at varrious points. The town lacks any defencive features, though certainly constructing even a simple fence or digging a ditch is at the forefront of the 's mind. At least, one would hope so.

A look around Këgê-vîke Dêtîkè makes it abundantly clear the town suffered something horrible some time ago. It's as if the town itself is depressed. Smiles are few, cheer is nowhere to be had. Everyone quietly goes about their daily business not looking anyone in the eye.

Cultural Notes

Këgê-vîke Dêtîkè's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used which employed abundant symbolic geometry, using pure forms such as the circle and square, and plans are based on often symmetrical layouts featuring rectangular courtyards and halls. These structures were is decorated with carved stone or stucco reliefs and made use of colorful stone mosaics..

In Këgê-vîke Dêtîkè sometimes, near one of the seasonal solstices, the sun appears to split into three and it rains from a clear sky for several hours.
